MYSELF
My name is Rami Darwiche, and I'm a fourth-year computer science student at the University of Florida. I have passions spread across many different areas of my major, including database management systems, machine learning, human-computer interaction, and software architecture. Outside of academics, I enjoy listening to music, exercising, and trying new foods!
Over the course of my career, I've gotten to explore many disciplines and hobbies. These are the things I developed a passion for.
Simplifying Data Management
A major theme of my research interests are about making optimized data systems that are easily usable by domain experts.
Understanding Massive Data
Handling data at scale is an increasingly prominent problem with opportunities for many fascinating improvements.
Designing Intuitive Interfaces
Designing intuitive interfaces is a key part of making data systems accessible. I enjoy interface design from both a creative and a UX-focused perspective.
Exploring New Technologies
From embedded systems to cloud engineering and quantum computing, I love exploring new frontier technologies.
